According to an American study in the journal Cancer Prevention Research were men every week more than three eggs are more likely to (fatal) prostate cancer
The scientists examined the possible link between consumption of red meat, poultry and eggs, and prostate cancer. They followed more than 27,000 men over 14 years.199 deceased prostate cancer during that period. Three men who ate eggs or more per week had 81% more likely to be fatal prostate cancer compared to men with less than 0.5 egg per week consumed. Poultry and red meat increased the risk of prostate cancer is not. Whether the eggs are the real culprit, or that men who eat lots of eggs unhealthy living (eating, exercise …) is not clear.
