@BlazenSpark Yes Halo did revolutionize games for consoles and gave more. But Half-Life had a bigger impact on the gaming industry.
i can see that and i agree with u but halo gave some to modern gaming and deserves some credit instead of half life get everything
@BlazenSpark Well you see, I’m not saying Halo is a bad game I’m just saying that Half-Life changed the gaming industry when it was first released in ‘98. But yes Half-Life was a very revolutionary game and an inspiring game to others.
i would say halo is more inspired by marathon than half life theres really nothing in half life to ispire what became halo and halo was already well in production before half life was released and was revealed at mac world expo in 1999 theres just more aspect from marathon oni and myth added into halo than anything added from half life

i understand that but look how advertising a game has done to the sales like modern warfare 2 or halo 3 or halo reach got a lot of trailer to them which made them more famous and had more fan craving the games im not saying anything and valve is free to do as they like but advertising or giving so clue as to what half life 2 episode 3 or half life 3 which ever it is will look like all im saying is it would help there sells and i would confirm their still making half life instead of people

@BlazenSpark valve has never made a trailer to any of there games the only real trailers they made were demos they showed at e3 nothing else because they said they wanted to spend that money on the game rather then advertiseing it

I know I’m saying this on a Halo video. But for those of you who don’t know, Halo was inspired by Half-Life.

Halo and Modernwarfare 2 are awsome games…..but they didn’t give shit to the gaming industry.
In my opinion Doom was the beggining of all FPS and Half-life was the beggining of all grate FPS games (like Halo and Call of duty)
