Intel Atom chip and integrated WiFi
The business of mobile devices is one of the most successful that has the industry today and that is why they take it all too seriously. This time Intel will bring a new chip to ISCC 2012 to be held in San Francisco this week in which present a processor Atom dual-core, the interesting thing is that it will have a WiFi transistor in it.
There is not much detail regarding the new 32nm chip but will have the name and Rosepoint .The intention with it is that comes hand in hand with large low power consumption, cost and size of the tablets, smartphones and laptops that have Intel chips.
What is even more interesting is that this is a digital RF chip that allows you to still further lower prices. Justin Rattner , Intel chief technology officer, told the people of Wired has a power consumption that is almost artistic.
Not much for now, but nothing is missing for ISC 2012, so it’s a matter of waiting a little longer.
