The cars that drive themselves have a free hand in Nevada

One of the dreams of Google is that of cars that can drive alone . For this illusion becomes a reality, as well as technology, where power is needed to test them in real situations. That place is now Nevada.

This state of USA has approved a new law that allows the movement of vehicles without drivers for the streets with different registration numbers in red. Moreover, these vehicles must carry “real” people and driving conditions (no alcohol for example) inside in case they need to get behind the wheel of an emergency.

The new law also establishes conditions for when a car is capable of being driven by a person without being present, she is ultimately responsible in case of incidents.

At the moment these vehicles using positioning sensors and GPS to get around without a driver may not use it but is particular only a provision for brands interested in their development to actual testing.
