The COBRA (BHUJANGASANA)
PERFORMANCE:
1. Lying on his stomach
- hands at shoulder height,
forearms on the floor, elbows along the body
- legs and feet together
- chin on the ground.
2. Standing up slowly on the arm while inhaling
Keep your arms parallel point ruling out the
elbows
- Keep feet together.
- Do not clear the basin floor.
- Reject well head back when you are arched.
3. Back to expire in the starting position
4. Completely relax before starting again.
EFFECTS OF THIS POSTURE:
- Strengthens ligaments of the spine.
- Tones endocrine glands including the thyroid.
- Prevents and cures constipation.
- Promotes proper kidney function.
CONTRAINDICATIONS:
- cases of hyperthyroidism. - High blood pressure. - Heart trouble
