“Your next smartphone will have more power than you need a phone and sufficient to function as a conventional computer,” Canonical
The idea is not new and has tried from various angles but there is something great in the simplicity of Ubuntu to Android , the new idea of Canonical, the makers of Ubuntu , to harness the power of mobile multi-core processors. When the phone resting on a base connected to an external monitor and keyboard functions as a phone at the same time as a single standard PC.
In principle the minimum specifications are quite reasonable. The phones have to have a dual core processor at 1 GHz, 512 MB of RAM, HDMI output with multi-display support, 2 GB of storage, USB host support and acceleration. Many mid-range phones and high compliance this year.
The reality is more complex because small adjustments are needed by hardware manufacturers but if the strategy succeeds Canonical would not be surprising that the next home computer was the mobile phone. Outside the docking function as a conventional phone but to connect the desktop based on Ubuntu, and would come to life more comfortably navigate and access to a traditional operating environment with windows.
